The One Armed Bandit and Co. featuring Amanda Payne

AKA: The Pretty One...but don't let your guard down around her...she can be just as captivating as the men in her gang.

She was born May 2, 1978, of Cherokee descent, on an Indian reservation in Pawnee, Oklahoma. She quickly picked up on the cowboy lifestyle. She started riding horses at a very early age, picking up on the tricks and trades of the bandit lifestyle. She has proven a woman can catch a fish and skin a deer just as well as any man. She broke out in 1997 when she was 18 years old, traveling back and forth throughout the United States. She has won IPRA Contract Act of the Year in 2000, and was nominated for PRCA Specialty Act of the Year in 2001. Nonetheless, this act has won the PRCA Specialty Act eight years in a row (1989-1996) under her father's honor. Amanda has also had the privilege of carrying the sponsorship flags in the NFR for the past 10 years. She has attended college in Weatherford, Oklahoma, and at Southwestern State, studying history and athletic coaching, and also just finished the Barbizon Modeling School of Tulsa, Oklahoma/Dallas, Texas.

Don't let her smile fool you! She's the only girl to ever attempt to follow in the Bandit's footsteps, and might just be the only one to put the Bandit in his place. Don't let your guard down either. She can handle two bullwhips quite well while guiding her horse with her legs, and her cur head dogs are always watching you. If you're lucky, you might get a glimpse of her. She, too, is on the most wanted list.

Funnyman Gizmo McCracken

Gizmo, as he's known on the rodeo circuit, has been doing rodeos for over 27 years. "Giz" and his wife Janice travel the country putting on shows from Canada to Texas, from the east to the west coast.

Rodeo crowds might meet any one of his alter egos: maybe Ozzy Osborne, a wild Jerry Lewis, Dr. Giz, Sir-Rink-In Machine, or even Elvis or perhaps an ostrich rider. But whatever act he chooses, they all share a high-energy, clean, family-oriented feel. He tries not to do anything that children would be disciplined for if they copied.

"I love people. I love working the crowd," says Gizmo. He hopes he can help them forget their problems for a while and have a good time, some family fun. "If I can pull that off, I've had a good night."

Derrick Dupler and Princess Rhia

As a little boy, Derrick drove a little black pony put to a cart when he was only four years old. In his teens, his father and he raised a couple of Morgans for driving and riding. After being completely away from horses for 20 years, Derrick met his dream horse, the one that they were never quite able to breed back in his youth, but the same one that never left his heart's dream.

Just six years ago, Derrick purchased his dream come true, Princess Rhia, a big, black, beautiful Morgan mare. It was love at first sight, but he could have never imagined how this dream horse would change the course of his life. He trained her to drive and has won many championships in the show driving ring, the driving speed and obstacle events, and marathon distance driving.

Early on, Derrick practiced natural horsemanship principles on the ground to attain the highest standard of obedience so that his disabled wife could safely handle the horse. He took that idea to the extreme and created a most entertaining trick horse.

Today, Rhia and Derrick have performed this exciting trick show all over the state to the delight of many of all ages. In addition, they have now developed a business to help others train their own horses while specializing in driving and trick training.

Derrick Dupler and Princess Rhia

Derrick Dupler and Princess Rhia will appear in the big parade on Saturday, and will also be performing all weekend between rodeo performances at the rodeo grounds!
